My favorite art connects to memories. As a teen, I painted a red roster on a stump. It connected with my Grandmother, reminding her of all the chicken salad that she made thru the years. The rooster hung in her breakfast room for many years giving her much pleasure and became a conversation piece. As an adult I discovered acrylics, rekindling an interest in painting. I began painting some nautical scenes which connected with my family by capturing some favorite vacation memories on canvas. I always attempt to capture the realism and crispness of the scene. Hopefully the local scenes will connect to you in some way and capture a fond memory.

Giclée Print

Giclée is a high quality reproduction of fine art printed on canvas or paper with an inkjet printer. The term is derived from the French word "giclée" meaning spray or spurt of liquid. Giclée's are printed using archivable, permanent pigment inks that have been tested to last in excess of 100 years. Trotter Arts digitally captures and then meticulously refines and proofs the image for color correction. Finally the prints are printed on a variety of sizes. Due to the aspect ratio of the original works not all canvas sizes are available for each print. Please contact us to assist you in something that would be suitable for your home.
