We just completed a large print order, getting ready for Bluffton in October. Lynne got busy stretching the fabric and I got busy making frames. Well, I’m a picker when I go to the Lumber store, I sort to find straight and flat cedar lumber. I routinely make frames 65” x 40” for large triptychs. Usually struggle to find straight lumber 65” long. On several occasions customers have asked for an XL triptych framed. That’s a 101” x 53” frame and I said I’d never build one.
Never say never….. the 12 foot cedar board spoke to me in the lumber aisle. It was straight and flat like I’ve never seen! I bought it and made a Triptych frame 101” x 53” and it came out perfectly square!
Now we need some input on which XL triptch to frame for Bluffton. Choices are A: Angel Oak B: Road to Wormsloe C: Tomotley Plantation D: Spring at Botany Bay or E: Tidal Pool
